One name near the top of virtually every list of possible coaches to take over the Ohio State men’s basketball program is Xavier’s Chris Mack.
It makes a ton of sense. The Buckeyes hired out of Xavier before, and it worked out just fine. Mack has as ton of success recruiting and developing talent in Ohio and across the Midwest. Also, Ohio State is a bump up in resources and prestige.
Plus, his house is mysteriously for sale already. Coincidence?!?
