Ohio State was without star wide receiver Carnell Tate against Purdue after he was scratched just before the game started with a minor injury. Head coach Ryan Day didn't share much about the injury, and ever since then, Tate's status has been completely unknown to the public.
Tate is questionable for today's game against UCLA, but when it comes to what he did or didn't do during practice, that is also very unknown to everyone. Some felt Tate absence from the game against Purdue was not a big deal, as the opponent was not big enough to risk a bigger injury.
