Freshman Cornerback Jordan Hancock Loses Black Stripe

BIA has a new member.

Four-star defensive back Jordan Hancock "officially" became a member of the Ohio State football team on Friday, shedding his black stripe after practice.

"Thank you for BIA, thank you to the coaching staff, thank you for everything," Hancock said after having his stripe removed. "Go Bucks!"

Hancock, the No. 5 cornerback and No. 73 overall player in the class of 2021, becomes the second summer enrollee on the defensive side of the ball to lose his black stripe, following only five-star defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau.

Hancock is the 13th freshman in the 2021 class to shed his black stripe, losing his the same day as five-star offensive lineman Donovan Jackson.
