Kevin Randleman, 44, a two-time NCAA wrestling champion at Ohio State who went on to win an Ultimate Fighting Championship title, has died at age 44.
Randleman's sister confirmed his death on her Facebook page.
Multiple sources reported Thursday that Randleman had been admitted to a San Diego hospital for pneumonia and died from heart failure.
Randleman, a Sandusky native, won national in 1992 and '93. He was a three-time Big Ten champion (1991-93).
He finished his OSU career with a 108-7-3 record, leaving school following his junior year.
