Former Ohio State running back Rod Smith has a new home as he has reportedly agreed to sign with the Carolina Panthers for the 2021-22 season.

The Panthers become the fifth NFL team Smith has played for in his seven-year career. Going undrafted out of college, Smith played for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks during his rookie season, but didn't find a consistent role on a team until his third season in the league with the Cowboys.
