Former Ohio State basketball assistant Jeff Boals to take over Ohio University

On Sunday, it was announced that former Ohio State men’s basketball assistant coach Jeff Boals is heading back to the Buckeye State, just a few hours south of Columbus. Having been the head coach at Stony Brook for three seasons, Boals will officially be taking over the basketball program at his alma mater, Ohio University.

Boals played his collegiate basketball in Athens at Ohio from 1991-95, and then was an assistant with the Bobcats the following season.
