Florida DT Commit Jamir Perez Schedules Official Visit to Ohio State, Buckeyes Offer Three Top-100 Prospects

It appears that Ohio State will get a shot to keep three-star defensive tackle Jamir Perez home, after all.

The 2026 Glenville product will still take an official visit to Columbus this month despite his pledge to Florida, according to 247Sports.

Perez will be at Ohio State on June 13-15, the same weekend his high school teammate, four-star linebacker Cincere Johnson, is scheduled to visit. Per the report, Perez may also take official visits to other schools, including Wisconsin, Iowa State, Purdue and perhaps Alabama.

Larry Johnson offered Perez in April following his visit to Ohio State for the spring game, then Perez committed to the Gators on May 18.
