Former Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles thought the grass would be greener on the other side by taking the open position at Penn State. He will soon learn that is not going to be the case once the season starts up, but till then, apparently, he is going to take little digs at his former program.
When speaking about the culture at Penn State on the final day of Big Ten Media Days, Knowles decided to give a little dig at Ryan Day and the Buckeyes when talking about James Franklin.
"The thing I've found about here and the culture that Coach Franklin's developed is there are no egos, so you're not worried about what you say or hurting anyone's feelings," Knowles said.
