The offseason heat only continues to rise as the college football landscape embraces July.
The Eleven Dubcast skipped last week to allow Johnny a comfortable transition into his family’s new home, and in our absence, tensions between the sport’s two biggest conferences kept growing. Two episodes ago, we spoke about how the SEC seems to have a bit of insecurity bubbling to its surface relative to concerns about the Big Ten cementing itself as the dominant authority in college football after back-to-back national titles.
While a lot of that was reading the tea leaves on our part, players and coaches in both camps alike have since made some spicy comments on the situation worth examining.
