Athlon Sports, one of the better college football preseason publications, has announced its 2023 preseason All-American lists, naming eight Ohio State football players to their four All-American offensive and defensive teams.
Being named to the Athlon Sports preseason All-American First-Team are wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Eguba, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, and defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau. Being named to the Third Team were running back TreVeyon Henderson and offensive guard Donovan Jackson. Making the Athlon Sports fourth team was the other offensive guard Matthew Jones and safety Lathan Ransom.
Ohio State’s main rival, That Team Up North, also had eight players named to Athlon Sports All-American teams, tying the Buckeyes for the most by any school this year.
