C.J. Stroud, TreVeyon Henderson Named Walter Camp Player of the Year Semifinalists

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud and running back TreVeyon Henderson were both named among 15 Walter Camp Player of the Year semifinalists on Thursday.

The award honors the college football player of the year and is voted on by coaches and sports information directors. OSU is one of two schools nationwide to have two players selected as semifinalists, with Alabama being the other.

This season, Stroud has completed 183 of 273 passes for 2,675 yards and 25 touchdowns compared to five interceptions. Meanwhile, Henderson has run for 937 yards on 128 carries with 12 touchdowns, averaging 7.
