While Ryan Day has said he wants to land a top quarterback in every recruiting cycle, landing a signal-caller he prefers is much easier said than done considering the sheer talent of OSU’s quarterback room year in and year out.
On Thursday, Ohio State identified another quarterback worthy of receiving an offer from the Buckeyes: four-star Alabama quarterback Christopher Vizzina. While Vizzina has southern roots, he and his family making an effort to visit OSU this spring shows that there’s mutual interest on his end as well as from the Buckeyes.
Vizzina is the seventh quarterback Ohio State has offered in the 2023 cycle and the fourth that remains uncommitted, along with Dante Moore, Nicholaus Iamaleava and Dylan Lonergan.
