Chase Farris signed to futures contract by Super Bowl champs Patriots

Just days after enjoying the New England Patriots’ seemingly miraculous win in Super Bowl LI, offensive lineman Chase Farris — who spent the 2016 season on the Pats’ practice squad — was re-signed by the team to a futures contract.

While the details of his new deal haven’t been ironed out, this is the team’s way of keeping Farris in New England for potentially at least one or two more seasons. The lineman made $174,000 last season, and will only build on that price point should he see time on the active roster.
