The Ohio State Buckeyes, Miami Hurricanes, and Oregon Ducks are the best of the unbeatens. No one is shoehorning any of the lossless SEC schools, the Ole Miss Rebels, Texas A&M Aggies, Oklahoma Sooners, or Missouri Tigers, into that mix, and no one is giving the Texas Tech Red Raiders the time of day for being in the Big 12.
CBS Sports' Chip Patterson shared the opinion that the Buckeyes, Hurricanes, and Ducks are all on the same plane, above the rest. But Patterson added a caveat that almost undoes the point entirely: the word "yet.
