The Ohio State Buckeyes will takes wins any way they can get them at this point. On Thursday night, they needed all 40 minutes to fend off UNC Asheville and secure win number 10 on the season.
Kam Williams’ two free throws with four seconds remaining gave the Buckeyes a two possession lead and finally finished off a UNC Asheville team that held a lead as late as 2:51 left in the game.
JaQuan Lyle and Jae’Sean Tate led the Buckeyes in scoring, dropping 17 a piece. Four of the five Buckeye starters scored in the double digits, including Trevor Thompson’s double-double.
