Ohio State appears to be losing Jeff Hafley after just one season.
Boston College is “close to finalizing an agreement” to hire the Ohio State co-defensive coordinator as its next head coach, according to a report by Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel. Lettermen Row's John Brice also reported that Hafley will be Boston College's next head coach, citing multiple sources, and Boston College athletic director Martin Jarmond sent a tweet Friday night implying that BC had landed its new coach.
Per Thamel, Hafley is expected to remain with Ohio State through the end of the season.
