Just like last Sunday when four-star defensive lineman Jason Moore announced his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes, Ohio State has once again locked up a commitment from another highly sought after class of 2023 prospect. Now the 19th recruit to give their word to Ryan Day and the OSU staff, four-star tight end Jelani Thurman will suit up in the scarlet and gray once he reaches the collegiate level.
Currently considered the ninth-best tight end and 135th overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Thurman chose the Buckeyes over a long list of opportunities from programs across the country.
