Barring a surprise, the next big name expected to commit to Ohio State’s 2016 football recruiting class is receiver Austin Mack.

Mack, from Fort Wayne, Ind., is supposed to announce his choice on June 7, Marc Givler of Rivals.com said. The four-star prospect has been courted by Alabama, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Michigan, along with Ohio State.

“All indications are Ohio State is his favorite, but you’ve still got to wait and see,” Givler said. “This is the guy the Buckeyes have really been after the most consistently for the last year or so at that position.
