Alcohol to be sold at Schottenstein Center during Ohio State games

Fans attending Ohio State sporting events at the Jerome Schottenstein Center this season will now have the ability to purchase alcoholic beverages throughout the arena.

Today, the university announced that beer and wine will be available after a pilot program began this season at Ohio Stadium that allowed sales to fans with club and suite level tickets at football games. Beer and wine have been available at the club level of the Schottenstein Center since it opened in 1998 and will now also be available in the entry and terrace levels of the arena.

The policy will be in effect for Ohio State men’s and women’s basketball games as well as men’s hockey games.
