Three-star safety Khmari Bing has committed to Ohio State.
Bing, who had been committed to Maryland since August 2024, received an Ohio State offer in September and took an official visit to Columbus for the Buckeyes’ 42-3 win over Minnesota on Oct. 4. The following week, Bing decommitted from the Terrapins, and the Buckeyes positioned themselves assumed frontrunners in his recruitment. Those assumptions proved correct, as Bing became Ohio State’s 21st commitment in the 2026 class.
While Bing is the No. 914 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite, the Washington, D.C., native told 247Sports in September that several teams view him as the best free safety in the 2026 class.
