Ohio State Football Recruiting: Top In-State 2018 QB Has Buckeyes Atop His List

Brennan Armstrong (Shelby, OH), who started all 10 varsity games as a freshman, worked out a week ago at Friday Night Lights, and said the Ohio State Buckeyes made an impression ion him.

“It was really fun,” Armstrong said. “It was my first time out on the field. I knew it was going to be a fun time working out with everyone. Coach (Tim) Beck gave me a little feedback – about my footwork and stuff like that.”

Armstrong said that what impressed him the most was the atmosphere at The Shoe last Friday night.

“How loud it was – that stood out,” Armstrong said. “I thought it was awesome. I’ll definitely get back down to Ohio State for all the stuff next year.”

The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Armstrong has a scholarship offer from Toledo, but says Ohio State is at the top of his list. He passed for 1,600 yards and rushed for 700 more while accounting for 29 touchdowns.
