The OSU football recruiting class currently sist at #5 in the composite recruiting rankings, behind Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and LSU. The 2020 Ohio State recruiting class is loaded with talent as it currently has 25 commits including three 5-stars, 14 4-stars and eight 3-stars. OSU has the #3 overall player in the nation in Julian Flemming as well as #1 offensive tackle in Paris Johnson Jr. Plus, 4-star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba who is the #5 WR prospect in the nation.
Ohio State fell short of a national championship in 2019, but the Buckeyes sit at +400 odds to win it all next season. That's only behind Clemson (+250). Alabama (+500), LSU (+700), Georgia (+800), Florida (+1600), and Oklahoma (+2500) round out the top contenders.
