Mutual Interest Between Ohio State Football, Elite 2018 Quarterback Recruit

The Ohio State Buckeyes have already picked up major recruiting gets at quarterback for 2016 (Tristen Wallace) and 2017 (Danny Clark), so it's really not a shocker that the Buckeyes are currently pushing on elite 2018 North Charleston (SC) quarterback Dakereon Joyner.

"My coach says Ohio State called again," Joyner said, via 247 Sports. "He says Ohio State and Florida State called."

Joyner is being pursued by a host of top programs, including the likes of Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee.

Regardless of all of that, 247Sports is reporting that there is strong mutual interest between Joyner and the Buckeyes. In fact, Joyner is already angling for a potential visit to Columbus.

"I'm still planning to, but I'm not sure when because my mom works on weekends," Joyner said of a future visit to Ohio State. "But I definitely want to get up there."
