Here’s Where Ohio State Has Been Ranked In The Preseason Coaches Poll Each Of The Last 10 Years

Coming into their 6th season under head coach Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes have been ranked as the #2 team in the country in today’s Coaches’ preseason poll. They ended last season 11-2 with a rough 31-0 loss to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl, which served as one College Football Playoff semifinal.

Ohio State has a talented team returning featuring stars such as QB J. T. Barrett, RB Mike Weber and dominant DE Sam Hubbard, who should lead the way to another fine season and another possible playoff berth for the program.

Ohio State's #2 ranking this year makes it five consecutive years in which the Buckeyes have been ranked in the top six in the preseason.
