Ohio State Football Recruiting: Rumors Roundup For Sunday 1/18

The Ohio State Buckeyes aren't willing to rest with the first ever College Football Championship trophy in hand, as head coach Urban Meyer and the coaching staff are doing their best on the recruiting trail to turn this year's title into the coming years' dynasty.

Who do the Buckeyes have their sights on? Find out in our Ohio State Football Recruiting: Rumors Roundup For Sunday 1/18.

Three-star QB Joe Burrow "100% committed" to Ohio State

Athens (OH) quarterback Joe Burrow had his in-home visit with Urban Meyer and Tim Beck on Thursday night, and the OSU commit is making no bones about where he stands after speaking with the duo.

"It went really well," Burrow said of the conversation, via 247Sports. "I was very pleased with it. I'm 100% committed to Ohio State."

Other schools, including the rival Michigan Wolverines, have tried to sway Burrow...to no effect.

"Oklahoma and Nebraska tried to change my mind," Burrow said. "And Jim Harbaugh called one time. I told him I'm committed to Ohio State. I'm not taking any other visits."

Ohio's Mr. Football is the 12th-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the nation, according to 247Sports.

4-star wide receiver decommits from Arkansas, OSU in mix

North Little Rock (Ark.) wide receiver KJ Hill has officially decommitted from Arkansas, and says he's considering Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, and Alabama after reopening his recruitment process.

Hill committed to Arkansas on August 29th, but has been swayed into putting himself back on the market after consideration. 247Sports' 21st-ranked wide receiver in the nation, Hill visited Alabama this weekend and is slated to head to Arkansas next weekend.
