3 Ohio State Football Players Ready To Break Out In 2015

We’re still four months away from the start of the 2015 college football season, which gives us plenty of time to work our way through the projected depth chart of the Ohio State Buckeyes. From the looks of the team so far, here’s our list of Ohio State Football Players Ready To Break Out In 2015.

LB Raekwon McMillan

A former five-star recruit, the sophomore was used sparingly during his freshman year while functioning as part of a rotation with Curtis Grant. However, McMillan's 6-foot-2, 240-pound frame is huge for a linebacker, and his blazing straight-line speed and undeniable football intelligence has him ticketed for stardom in 2015.

DE Jalyn Holmes

There's a huge hole across the way from all-world defensive end Joey Bosa, and Holmes will likely be the guy Urban Meyer picks to fill it. The rising sophomore seems like the best option of a young group, and the skill set which made his 247Sports' #51 overall recruit in 2014 should help propel him to major success if given the opportunity as a starter.

CB Damon Webb

With Doran Grant off to the NFL, it's between Webb and highly-touted redshirt sophomore Gareon Conley to take over his vacated starting cornerback spot. While Conley could very well win the starting job right off, Webb's effort in practice is bound to pay off either in a starting role somewhere down the road or as a nickel back. Either way, expect his work ethic to turn some heads in 2015.
