Ohio forwards Jason Carter and Gavin Block sat at a press conference Tuesday evening just after a 66-52 loss to Kent State. The two appeared disappointed, and not unaware of the inadequate showing the Bobcat men’s team put on the Convocation Center court.
“That’s just unacceptable the way that we played, honestly,” Block, a senior, admitted. “You can’t come off playing that well and settle for just being OK with one win on Saturday, and then coming in here tonight and getting kicked in the mouth.
“We just have to be ready every single day, and that has to be our mindset,” he said.
