Once the Bobcats got momentum, they rolled.
The Ohio University women’s basketball team is hoping it can the same about junior guard Quiera Lampkins.
Lampkins, dogged by some low-scoring games early this season, provided a first-half spark and netted a season-high 21 points in the Bobcats’ 91-65 rout over visiting St. Francis (Pa.) inside the Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon.
Ohio (5-2) trailed midway through the first quarter, but closed the period with a 10-0 run and never looked back. The Bobcats led 22-16 after the first 10 minutes, posted a 39-28 lead at halftime, and had the game well in hand (63-40) heading into the fourth.
