It had only been two weeks since the Ohio Bobcats last won a basketball game, but a losing streak in the middle of Mid-American Conference play felt like a season-long affair. That ended today (Saturday).
Ohio (9-9, 2-4 MAC) halted a three-game skid with a 72-66 win at Eastern Michigan University (11-8, 2-4) in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The victory was Ohio’s first true road victory of the MAC season.
While the Bobcats needed a win, some Ohio players needed some wins of their own, especially Preseason All-MAC selection Jordan Dartis. The junior guard had struggled recently. Dartis had just six points in a loss against Toledo this past Tuesday, eight points against Northern Illinois on Jan.
