The Ohio University football team has secured non-conference schedules for the next six seasons.
The school’s athletic department released information on all future non-conference football opponents from 2016-2021 on Tuesday.
It means Ohio has no openings — barring a renegotiated contract — in the non-conference portion of the football schedule until at least 2022.
For the most part, Ohio’s future schedules adhere to the trends set by the program under 11th year head coach Frank Solich. The Bobcats will face a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team in a home game every season moving forward, will play one road ‘buy’ game every season, and will maintain a steady diet of home-and-home agreements to round out the schedule.
