KENT, Ohio — The Bobcats broke new ground in style with a 93-54 win over Kent State inside the M.A.C. Center on Wednesday night.
Three Ohio players set, or tied, career-highs as the Bobcats grabbed their first 6-0 start in the Mid-American Conference in program history.
Ohio (14-3, 6-0 MAC) never trailed, and blew the game open in the second quarter. The Bobcats enjoyed their best offensive game of the season with a season-high 93 points, 26 assists and a blistering 17 of 37 effort from the 3-point arc.
“We shared the ball extremely well,” Ohio head coach Bob Boldon said.
