The Ohio University softball team took out Northern Illinois, 8-0, in a winner’s bracket final of the 2018 Mid-American Conference Softball Tournament on Friday at Firestone Stadium in Akron. The victory put the Bobcats (37-15) into Saturday’s championship round.
In short, Ohio will have two chances to get one win in the championship round and punch its ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
