The Ohio University football team has known for weeks it was going to earn a spot in a bowl game.
On Sunday, the Bobcats found out all the particulars.
Ohio (8-4) officially accepted a big to play in the 2014 Raycom Media Camellia Bowl, the school and the bowl announced. The Camellia Bowl, created in 2014, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19 starting at 5:30 p.m. (ET) at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala.
Ohio will face Appalachian State (10-2) in the ninth bowl game appearance in school history. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
