One way, or the other, history will be made in the 2016 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) semifinals.
Ohio (23-11) faces Morehead State (21-12) in one semifinal, set for a 7 p.m. tip-off inside the Convocation Center. In the other semifinal, Vermont (23-13) will be at Nevada (21-13) in a 10 p.m. (ET) start.
In Athens, the Bobcats and Eagles won’t be just vying for a spot in the CBI championship round — a best of three series. Also up for grabs will be the longest postseason run in either program’s history.
Morehead State has never won three games in any one postseason event (excluding conference tournaments).
