Bobcat men play hard but fall to Kent on road trip

After snapping a losing streak against a Mid-American Conference front runner last Friday, the Ohio Bobcats visited Kent State tonight (Tuesday) and again gave a top team all it could handle. Despite a good game, the Bobcat men fell 78-73 to the Golden Flashes.

Ohio trailed 35-31 at the half, but a strong second-half performance put the Bobcats into a tight battle. A three-point score by senior Gavin Block gave Ohio a 56-55 lead with 7:57 remaining in the game. Just over a minute and a half later, redshirt sophomore Connor Murrell hit a three of his own for a 61-57 Ohio lead.
