The friendly/familial bond between Marcus Peters and Marshawn Lynch goes so far that the Chiefs cornerback reportedly wants to help the Raiders star in an appeal against his NFL suspension.
According to multiple national reports, Peters will speak on behalf of Lynch at the running back’s upcoming appeal of a one-game ban he received after racing onto the field Thursday, allegedly to defend Peters
A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Peters will speak over the phone if he cannot attend in person.
Peters and Lynch are each Oakland natives who found themselves in a controversial situation during the Raiders-Chiefs game Thursday.
