The Donald Penn holdout was a much publicized part of Oakland Raiders camp up in Napa. Penn did not report to training camp, spending four weeks away from the team. He would return to Oakland shortly before the third preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Penn kept in football shape during his absence from the team. He’s played great since re-joining the team. The reasoning behind his holdout is that he is a top-10 tackle in football and wants to be paid like one. Penn just so happens to be in the final year of his deal with the Raiders.
