Recent Raiders offseason arm Landry Jones becomes XFL’s first signing

The new XFL will kick off in 2020, which means they have to get on forming their rosters. They broke the ice today with the first signing — recent Raiders offseason roster QB Landry Jones.

Jones was a fourth round pick by the Steelers in the 2013 draft. He spent five seasons with the team and shortly after the Raiders made the trade to acquire Antonio Brown this offseason, they added his former teammate Jones as well.

The team had already added free agent Mike Glennon and brought back Nathan Peterman.
