The Oakland Raiders officially removed QB Derek Carr from the injury report on Friday, which clears the way for him to start Week 6’s game against the Chargers.
Reports were all over the place in regards Carr’s timeline to return from the back injury he suffered a few weeks ago. One said he could miss as much as 2-6 weeks, but it became clear Carr was likely to return this weekend.
The Raiders have had EJ Manuel filling in while Carr is out.
Carr, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014.
