Raiders sign linebacker Brady Sheldon

Leaving no rock unturned, Reggie McKenzie is looking to strike gold again with the signing of another undrafted free agent. This time the Oakland Raiders will be hoping linebacker Brady Sheldon out of Division II Ferris State can impress enough during training camp to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network first broke the news that the Raiders signed the small school linebacker.

It's mid-July, but pre-camp work goes on: #Raiders will sign LB Brady Sheldon of Ferris St, source said. Speedster was a rookie camp tryout.

Sheldon played his college ball for the Division II Ferris State Bulldogs and was a participant in the Raiders rookie mini-camp.
