Raiders game grades

Offense

The Raiders didn’t run the ball enough or take enough chances downfield, partly because Minnesota was able to put pressure on Derek Carr without blitzing as much as it usually does. Center Rodney Hudson was missed. Maybe fullback Marcel Reece could have helped. He had one touch.

Defense

The secondary wasn’t terrible and the run defense didn’t look terrible — even though Adrian Peterson ran for 203 yards. Even the pass rush appeared: four sacks and just as many close calls. But though Macolm Smith, Mario Edwards and Khalil Mack flashed a little bit, nobody made any real big plays.
