The Oakland Raiders entered Sunday’s game with a heavy heart.
It was supposed to be an emotional farewell to the devoted fanbase that had stuck with this team for decades. It was supposed to be a storybook ending filled with tears and cheers from the home faithful.
But those tears and cheers were nowhere to be found at the end of the game. Instead, boos and jeers rained down from the Oakland home crowd as the Raiders walked off the field with their heads towards the turf.
The Raiders had blown a 13-point lead and allowed 17 unanswered points in the final 15 minutes.
