How will smoke affect Raiders, Cal, Stanford games this weekend?

Smoke from the cluster of devastating and still surging North Bay fires has officials from the Raiders, Cal and Stanford monitoring the air quality as those teams prepare to host games this weekend.

Could the dangerous smoke levels here in the Bay Area force those games to be altered or even cancelled? As of Thursday morning, no one is ready to suggest those drastic measures, but they are all taking precautions.

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has warned that air quality in the Bay Area could reach troubling levels on Friday and Saturday.

Cal, which is scheduled to play Washington State Friday night at Memorial Stadium, reportedly has had a team of officials checking the forecasted air quality for Berkeley.
