Derek Carr is celebrated across Raider Nation as well as among Fresno State fans, clearly.
The Raiders quarterback and former Bulldogs standout is scheduled to have his number retired by Fresno State before Saturday’s home opener.
“That’s going to be a special moment,” Carr told reporters this week. “I literally dreamed of that since I was this tall.”
Carr can say that considering his big brother, David Carr, began playing with the Bulldogs when Derek was 6 years old. David started for Fresno State when Derek was 8 and 9 years old, before playing for the Texans.
