Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was impressed with wide receiver Hunter Renfrow in the 2017 College Football national championship.
That is because Renfrow sealed Clemson’s 35-31 victory over Alabama when he caught a 2-yard touchdown from Deshaun Watson.
Carr sent out a tweet then.
Fast forward to 2019, Renfrow was selected in the fifth round (149th overall) by the Raiders on Saturday and he’ll be catching passes from Carr.
