49ers, Raiders win again, lead divisions — Bay Area fans have rarely had it this good

A gracious good Monday morning to you, 49ers and Raiders fans. FiveThirtyEight has a bucket of ice water it would like to dump over your heads.

Sorry to kill the buzz from one of the best pro football Sundays in Bay Area history. The 49ers rallied from 16-0 to beat Arizona 36-26, with Jimmy Garoppolo becoming the third quarterback in team history to throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns, joining a couple of old-timers named Montana and Young.

Across the inlet, the Raiders beat the Bengals behind rookie Josh Jacobs’ 112 rushing yards, and quarterback Derek Carr, who had a Stabler-esque afternoon — 25-for-29, 292 yards, one touchdown and a so-what interception.
