A mixture of injuries and lack of talent on defense helped secure another early playoff exit for the Chiefs, and they address it heavy in the draft. Particularly on the interior defensive line taking Breeland Speaks and Derrick Nnadi back-to-back. Both are good run defenders and will probably be asked to play very early for KC.
Dorian O’Daniel is an interesting prospect who is a linebacker/safety mix who will be good as a nickel hybrid player. Armani Watts is undersized but has good ball skills and played a ton of games at Texas A&M which isn’t easy.
