5 Oakland Raiders Ready To Breakout In 2019 On Defense

The Oakland Raiders defense needs to play better in 2019 and with the help of a solid draft and adding talent in free agency, Raider Nation’s hopes are high this season. The Raiders drafted DE Arden Key & DT Maurice Hurst in 2018, both players fell in the draft but have legit talent and opportunity to breakout this season. Marquel Lee is in the best shape of his career down to 238 pounds to help him in the passing game. The Raiders selected Karl Joseph in the 1st round of the 2016 NFL Draft and after a slow start last season, could 2019 be his breakout year? Gareon Conley was featured in our bold predictions video where Mitchell said Conley is going to lead the NFL in interceptions so you know he expects big things for the former 1st round pick out of Ohio State.
