OAKLAND — Count A’s legend Dennis Eckersley among those optimistic about a new stadium.
After getting honored with a stadium gate named after him at the Coliseum, Eckersley discussed his excitement for a new stadium in Oakland and what it would mean for the future of the A’s.
“Seems like things are happening here. Things have changed. For the good,” Eckersley said. “There’s a lot of positive stuff and you can feel it.”
Team president Dave Kaval, who has been at the forefront of all the recent buzz over a new stadium, spoke during Eckersley’s ceremony.
