The A’s aren’t exactly homer-or-bust, but they’re the closest thing to it in their Oakland history.
This year’s team deserves to be exactly where it stands, buried in last place for a third straight season. But one thing the A’s do in abundance is hit balls over the outfield wall.
They hit three homers in one inning Tuesday night at the Coliseum, but it mattered little in an 8-7 loss to the Angels in 10 innings. Ben Revere’s RBI single off Blake Treinen was the difference, and Oakland’s losing streak extended to eight games, its longest since 2012.
